Activated Charcoal has been known and used for centuries for its incredible absorption abilities, trapping toxins and chemicals and its deep cleansing and detoxification properties. Our charcoal is medicinal grade and steam activated, unlike other charcoals which are chemically activated. This makes our charcoal 3-5 times more porous, meaning it will trap more toxins and work more effectively. 

Activated charcoal will adsorb and render harmless over 3,000 known drug residues, pesticides, insecticides and just about every harmful chemical known. It is pure carbon and will adsorb 29 of the 30 most dangerous poisons, thus neutralising them.

Activated charcoal is best taken in a big glass of water on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before food. We would usually recommend taking activated charcoal for around 10 days in a row, then have a break. It can also be taken sporadically when you feel you need it, for example before a sauna, or when you are feeling the effects of detox.
